Materials Methods: clinical data 99 mother-newborn couples diagnosed with Bell’s stage IIA NEC comparable comparison group were studied. characteristics main compared control using Student’s t-test. To assess severity impact factors, Cochran - Mantel Hensel method was used construction logistic regression model. Results. A statistically significant established ampicillin prescribed pregnant women occurrence newborns. adjusted odds ratio (OR) significantly greater for infants (OR 2.3, 95% CI 1.1, 4.8, P = 0.003) than group. Potential influencing (arterial hypertension, chorioamnionitis, artificial feeding male sex) which also contribute newborns during antibiotic therapy, have been identified.
